Why do you need different rods to fish inland instead of on a beach, can i use beach rod and reels to fish inl?

I have beach fishing rods with Vantage G880 multiplier reel and another with Rainbow JP300, can i use inland rivers as well as beaches

It would be possible to use a beach fishing rod and reel in a river or lake if the circumstances were right. Beach rods are generally very long to help with casting far distances with heavy weight and landing big fish. Depending where you are fishing, a beach rod might might not work because of trees/ weeds being in the way of casting. For fishing on a local lake or river I recommend getting some lighter rods and reels. They will work better for casting the bait you will use and be easier to manage.
